With the uncertainties that the travel industry continues to face due to Covid-19, it is important now more than ever that you should be choosing a travel company you can rely on. Kalkan Holiday Property is committed to providing you with a professional and personalised service and supporting you throughout the booking and holiday process.

We understand that the Covid 19 pandemic raises concerns for many of our customers and we continue to endeavour in assisting our customers as much as possible throughout the pandemic. Where government imposed travel restrictions occur that disrupt our customers holiday, we work diligently to act as a representative for our customers to find the best solution.


As we are a booking agent and represent a vast number of different property owners we are not able to provide a standard policy for Covid Cancellations that applies to all of our featured properties. In each case the discretion of the individual property owner will determine whether we are able to offer terms which differ from our standard booking terms and conditions. In the case that an owner offers a flexible cancellation policy for Covid 19 we will always allow this altered policy to supersede our standard cancellation policy.

From our experience in the summer of 2020 and 2021 most property owners have been very understanding and flexible in trying to accommodate the requests of our customers. If you have any concerns or queries regarding Covid 19 for the specific property you have booked or would like to book, please get in touch and we will liaise with the owner in question on your behalf so that you are able to make informed decisions before booking or travelling.


The information provided here is for guests wishing to amend their holiday and re-arrange dates due the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

In order to minimise the impact of coronavirus (Covid-19) and the travel restrictions relating to it, we will not charge any adjustment fees for amending dates for your selected property. You must call our customer service number on +44 7818 370 610 or email us at for your amendment requests.

The holiday property you choose may differ in price from your original booking depending on the new travel dates and changes will only be able to be confirmed if there is availability. We will inform you of any difference in price when you make your request (we would like to state that for our customers who have arranged Transfer Services or car hire, there may be extra charges due to the difference in travel dates. Please contact us via e-mail or telephone for these enquiries).

In case of an amendment to your property or dates, pool heating prices and availability may vary from what you were quoted for your original booking. The fees of such extra facilities are determined by the villa owners and the entire amount is paid to the owners; we do not take extra payment for arranging these extra facilities.

We reserve the right to change this policy in light of new information or travel restrictions.

Q. What if my flights get cancelled?

A. If, due to restrictions put in place due to Covid-19, your flight tickets get cancelled by your flight operators we expect to see proof of this (such as a photograph or email sent to you via your flight operator. Q: What if I decide I don’t want to travel?

A: If the FCO or other government body advice has not changed and holidays are operating as normal, your holiday will be subject to normal booking conditions and cancellation charges will apply. If you have specific reasons for not wishing to travel when there are no government restrictions in place, we ask you to contact your travel insurers for information about cover.

Q: What happens if travel restrictions are in place, or expected to be in place, when I am due to travel?

A: As we are a UK registered company who provide accommodation only we are not ATOL protected. We advise that you speak to your insurance provider to discuss your options. If, travel restrictions are due to be in place when you are expected to travel we kindly advise you to contact us and inform us of your situation.

Q: I’m over the age of 65 and concerned about the government’s advice surrounding self-isolation. What is the situation?

A: If you have a future booking where all elements of your holiday can be fulfilled, our normal booking conditions and cancellation charges apply. We recommend that you speak with your travel insurance provider to see what cover you have in place in light of the latest government advice surrounding self-isolation. If your GP has advised against travel, and they have provided you with official documentation to confirm this, you should also speak to your travel insurance provider for advice.

Q: I am worried about future travel when there is no FCO or government advice in place because a member of our party has a pre-existing medical condition. What should I do?

A: We recommend in the first instance you speak to your GP for advice. We then recommend that you speak to your travel insurance provider to discuss the matter.
